The beautiful Breezy Shores Resort & Beach Club is a four-season timeshare resort located in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. The resort is built along 800 feet of private sandy beach for family fun on the lake. Winter, spring, summer or fall, Breezy Shores Resort offers a variety of activities.

Winter - At the resort: They maintain four ice fishing houses for FREE use by owners and guests. They are first come, first serve. They drill holes daily and provide wood for the indoor stoves. The office offers ice skates for a dollar a day and free use of children's toboggan-style sleds (ask the staff for directions to local sledding trails). Locally: You can see Detroit Mountain from the windows of the pool building. They offer downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing. County and local snowmobile clubs regularly groom snowmobile trails. Detroit Lakes is home to hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails. The office can also direct you to alternative cross-country ski trails other than Detroit Mountain. Indoor activities like curling and bowling are also popular with locals and visitors.

Spring - When the ice melts, the pan fishing heats up! The office can direct you to local bait shops for all the current fishing supplies and information you'll need. Celebrate the arrival of spring at Maple Syrup Days in Vergas held annually in early April. Rent a bike from the office for a fun ride around the lake or along the river. Early May brings the opening of Walleye season, with Bass just a few weeks behind.

Summer - Sun and water, a great recipe for relaxation! Swimming, fishing, biking, and boating. Let the games begin. The resort offers a variety of non-motorized watercraft for rent at very reasonable rates. Their Activities Director has planned recreational events for you to enjoy. Decorate a t-shirt or join in the Bean Bag Tournament or Family Movie Night on the patio (weather permitting). Don't forget to vote for the new feature of the week. Fall - Fishing! The Muskie population continues to grow on Detroit's lakes. You won't need a lot of chalk here and fall is prime time for Muskie. Hit the local scenic trails or the state and national parks and refuges to experience the changing colors and annual migrations of butterflies and birds, or potentially catch a glimpse of local mammals that are staying for the winter. Bald eagles are regularly spotted at the resort and fall is their most active time.
